How did you get involved with “All About The McKenzies”?
From an Internet Ad

What has your experience been like on the show?
Great fun lots of laughs and a great work ethic. It's wonderful being part of something from a grass roots level with a company of like minded individuals

Explain your character?
My character is the glue of the family. The one who can heal a rift or problem with a few words, but can cause as much trouble as he solves. Although, his actions create the kind of scenarios that the family will always look back and remember fondly. He is young at heart and has a bark far worse than his bite, and has a penchant for the ladies.

Who do you best get on with in the cast?
I truly get on with all the cast equally, but my character has a fondness for his Grand Daughter, Angel.

What would you like for you character in the future?
I would like for my character to become a hero in the community, and maybe do something random, like open a food shop or become a preacher, with hilarious consequences.

Other than yourself who’s your favourite character?
Angel

Where do you see” yourself” in 10 years time?
In 10 years time I will be playing various character roles on stage and screen, comedy and tragedy, and writing for both of the above from with my own production company. As well as choreographing major shows/productions/artists on the side.

Describe working with Samuell Benta…
Working with Samuell Benta is very refreshing, he has a certain urgency that some would call impatience, I would say passionate. He has a great sense of humour and imagination. This brings both fun and creativity to a shoot, and he'll always give you free reign to make educated character choices.

Jason is also a choreographer in his own right for a more detailed biog please visit his website www.jasonpennycooke.com
